Golf 1.4
I test drove a Golf 1.4, and like it, and its price.
Seat Ibiza is the same as a golf, and more than likely cheaper (perhaps it's now based on the Audi A4) but I recommend trying that as well if you enjoyed the golf, perhaps can save you some cash.
